Position Details

Schedule: Per diem

Primary Responsibilities

1. Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
2. Explain procedures and processes to patients.
3. Position imaging equipment, determine exposure factors based on patient specifics, and adjust equipment controls accordingly.
4. Practice radiation safety to minimize exposure.
5. Perform diagnostic radiology procedures.
6. Process and review images for quality and proper identification.
7. Prepare images for radiologist or physician review.
8. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging repairs as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• License or temporary permit for Diagnostic Radiology in New York
• ARRT certification or willingness to obtain within 180 days

Preferred:

• Over 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience
• Experience with Epic EMR software
• Orthopedic imaging experience

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly rate ranges from $23.70 to $46.35, depending on full-time employment, experience, education, and certifications. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions. We are committed to equitable pay and opportunities.
