Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, GA is seeking a part-time Optometrist to join the Department of Medicine Optometry Service. This 16-hour-per-week position is a Direct Hire solicitation with salary negotiation possible for those new to federal service.

The Optometrist will examine, diagnose, and treat a full range of eye conditions, participate in Vision Conservation, monitor equipment, and may serve as Chief in the absence. Lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Treats ocular pathology and injury per credentialing and service policies.
• Examines, diagnoses, manages, and treats a full range of eye problems and diseases.
• Acts as Vision Conservation Officer overseeing eye protection and injuries.
• Maintains ophthalmic equipment and arranges replacements per policy.
• May serve as Chief of the Optometry Service or Clinic in absence.
• Lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.
