Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking an Optometrist to perform focused medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA disability benefits process. This in-person, non-treating role focuses on accurate examinations and documentation, with a compassionate, veteran-centered approach.

Responsibilities include reviewing electronic records, conducting eye exams with VFT, and completing VA forms. The schedule is 1 day per week, with a predictable workload and full support infrastructure.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Join MRG Exams to conduct comprehensive eye exams for U.S. Veterans. This is a rewarding non-treating, non-determination role focused solely on assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Perform thorough eye exams, including Visual Field Testing (VFT).
• Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.

Position Details

• Schedule: 1 Day/Week
• Location: In-person role.
• Caseload: 4-6 Veterans per day on average.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation.
