BROOKLYN MEDICAL in New York, NY is seeking an Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care across our Midtown, Harlem, Brooklyn, and Queens health centers. The role focuses on testing general eye health, screening for eye diseases, and determining if corrective lenses are needed, with a schedule that avoids weekends and overnights.

Travel to Midtown and Queens locations is required; NYS OD license, CPR certification, and benefits including health/dental/vision coverage, PTO, and retirement

Qualifications

• Licensed OD in New York State.
• CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Examine eyes to determine visual acuity and diagnose abnormalities.
• Analyze test results and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications/eyeglasses and make referrals as needed.
• Maintain complete medical records and communicate with ophthalmologists.

Education

Current License as an O.D. in New York State
