Qualifications

• State licensure as optometrist or in progress
• 4th-year students encouraged to apply
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing eye conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye exams and diagnose vision problems and ocular diseases
• Prescribe corrective lenses and formulate treatment plans
• Utilize diagnostic equipment (Optos and visual field screeners)
• Educate patients on eye health and post-exam care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and maintain records
• Stay current with continuing education and industry advancements
