Strong clinical skills and excellent communication are essential as you collaborate with healthcare professionals and educate patients on eye health while maintaining meticulous records and staying current with CE

Qualifications

• Valid state optometry license or actively obtaining is required.
• 4th-year students encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing eye conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye exams and diagnose vision problems and ocular diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and formulate treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment such as Optos and visual field screeners.
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and post-exam instructions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
