Job summary

Hëda in Western Pennsylvania seeks a highly skilled Optometrist to join a collaborative, multi-office corneal specialty practice. You will provide medical optometry with a focus on pre- and post-operative surgical care in a referral-based setting.

The role emphasizes cataract co-management, corneal transplant care, keratoconus management, and refractive surgery evaluations, with occasional travel between offices and no evening hours.

Qualifications

• OD degree with active Pennsylvania licensure (or eligibility).
• Residency training preferred but not required.
• Strong interest in surgical co-management and medical optometry.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical optometric care with emphasis on pre- and post-operative management.
• Cataract surgery evaluations and co-management including lens discussions.
• Corneal transplant care (DMEK, PK, DSAEK) pre- and post-op.
• Keratoconus management including corneal cross-linking.
• Refractive surgery evaluations and co-management (LASIK, PRK, ICL).
• Emergency care for anterior segment cases (ulcers, abrasions, uveitis).
