Job summary

DOCS Health seeks licensed optometrists to provide refractions and eyeglass fittings for military service members. Work is primarily on weekends in California, with occasional weekdays, supported by our fixed-clinic, mobile deployment and telemedicine models.

You will join a team focused on health-readiness services across USAR, ARNG, USNR, MARFORRES, USCGR, ANG, and USAFR, delivering compassionate care and ensuring deployable readiness.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted optometrist license in California.
• Available for weekends and occasional weekdays.
• Experience with military or mobile clinics preferred.

Attention all Optometrists we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members.

Attention all Optometrists we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members. We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of California on an \"as needed basis\". We provide health readiness services to meet the medical requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)


• Army National Guard (ARNG)


• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)


• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)


• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)


• Air National Guard (ANG)


• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing refractions and eyeglass fittings with equipment provided by DOCS Health.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted license/certification in the state


• Available for weekends and occasional weekdays


• Passionate, friendly, and caring


• Must have weekend availability


• Experience working with military - preferred
