Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Optometrists to perform refractions and eyeglass fittings for military service members in California. Work primarily weekends on an as-needed basis with some weekday coverage.

Responsibilities include using DOCS Health equipment to provide accurate refractions and fittings, while delivering compassionate care in a mobile/clinic setting. Background checks and E-Verify are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license in the state required.

Attention all Optometrists we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of California on an "as needed basis".

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing refractions and eyeglass fittings with equipment provided by DOCS Health.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted license/certification in the state
• Available for weekends and occasional weekdays
• Passionate, friendly, and caring
• Must have weekend availability
• Experience working with military - preferred
