Job summary

Eyes On Eyecare in Grand Junction, CO seeks an Optometrist for full- or part-time roles in a private practice. You will join two optometrists, three technicians, and ten front desk staff to deliver high-quality eye care to about 15–20 patients daily.

Two exam lanes are equipped with Autorefractor, NCT, Daytona Optos, and OCT, enabling efficient, thorough care. Spanish language skills are a plus and mentorship is provided by experienced doctors.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree (or pending).
• Valid state license to practice optometry (or pending).
• Strong sense of professionalism and personal ethics.
• Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams.
• Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease.
• Prescribe corrective lenses.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.
• Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients.
• Maintain detailed patient records using EMR.
• Handle eyecare emergencies.
