Job summary

Visionworks in Aurora, CO is seeking a full-time Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care, perform exams, diagnose ocular conditions, and prescribe lenses. You will collaborate with ophthalmologists in a supportive, patient-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active state optometry license in good standing.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases
• Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing refractive surgery
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EHR
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Stay current with advancements in optometry and participate in continuing education
