Job summary

VisionWorks in Denver, CO is seeking an Optometrist for full-time or part-time engagement to provide comprehensive eye care. You will conduct vision exams, diagnose ocular conditions, and manage patient treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited institution.
• Active state optometry license in good standing.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests.
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for refractive surgery patients.
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EHR.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Stay current with advancements in optometry and continuing education.
