Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school or college of Optometry.
• Bachelor's Degree in Biology, physiology or other health science related field.
• California Optometrist License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and examine eyes and the visual system to diagnose and treat visual problems, manage diseases, injuries, and other disorders of the eyes.
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses as needed.
• Provide patient care within Providence Saint John's Medical Foundation.
• Collaborate with the care team to support patient-centered care.

Education

Doctor of Optometry

Bachelor's Degree in Biology or health science related field

California Optometrist License

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
