Qualifications

• Must have a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.
• Valid state license to practice optometry required.
• Ability to build rapport with patients is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye and vision tests.
• Diagnose sight problems and manage eye diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Promote eye health through patient counseling.
