Job summary

Overview

We are hiring an optometrist to join our growing practice in Southwest Washington. The position is part‑time, primarily seeing patients in our Heron Gate (Ridgefield) office with some time at our Camas office. The role offers an excellent work‑life balance with no weekend hours or call responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient‑centered eye care, including comprehensive exams and eye‑health assessments.
  • Coordinate care with a team of four optometrists, six ophthalmologists, and specialized glaucoma, pediatric, and oculoplastic services.
  • Utilize a full‑service optical shop at each site to support accurate patient care.
  • Collaborate with ophthalmic testing staff, technicians, and opticians to maintain high‑quality, efficient patient care.
  • Participate in an established referral network that collaborates between primary and specialty care.
Qualifications
  • O.D. degree from an accredited institution.
  • Eligibility for licensure in Washington State.
  • Preference for candidates with 3+ years of experience and/or residency training.
  • Ability to work part‑time across multiple locations.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Production model with a 1‑year guarantee ranging from $160,000 to $178,000 for 1.0 FTE (pro‑rated for actual FTE).

  • Benefits begin on the first of the month following one month of employment.
