Compensation and Benefits

The wage range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000 annually, based on a full-time schedule and commensurate with experience and office location. Actual wages will depend on contractual schedules. The company complies with all state and local wage and hour laws and the minimum pay range will always be at or above the applicable minimum wage.

Role Details

The Optometrist (OD) position involves practicing in a traditional, full-scope office environment, possibly requiring local travel within MyEyeDr. regions. You will have the opportunity to perform general and medical optometry, with a consistent patient base and a focus on quality patient care. Each practice is equipped with the latest vision care technology and a wide selection of eyewear.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree from an accredited institution required.
• License in good standing to practice Optometry in the state of employment required.
• National Provider Identification (NPI) required.
• TPA License required.
• Prior clinical optometry experience in a retail, educational, or medical setting is a plus; all are welcome to apply.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively, utilize necessary equipment, and move about the office.

Responsibilities

Using accepted practices, tools, and techniques, evaluate patients’ vision and healthcare needs, document findings, and consult with patients regarding their vision care. Collaborate with the office team to provide compassionate, personalized care to ensure an excellent patient experience.
