Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree is required.
• Active (or eligible) South Carolina license is required.
• Patient-first mindset and strong clinical judgment are essential.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are important.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach is valued.

Responsabilités

• Deliver comprehensive eye exams and exceptional patient experiences.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular conditions and vision needs.
• Prescribe glasses and contact lenses with confidence and accuracy; provide medical optometry care, including use of pharmaceuticals.
• Deliver pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Identify systemic health concerns and coordinate care as needed.
• Educate patients to help them take ownership of their eye health.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
