Job summary

Eye To Eye Careers is seeking a part-time Optometrist to commute 30 minutes to 1 hour to one location per day across 3–4 nursing homes in Gerry, NY. You will perform comprehensive eye exams and diagnose ocular conditions while explaining eye health and prescription terms to patients.

Techs are available in some locations; no EMR is required as paperwork is prefilled and billing is handled. Flexible 6-hour days, no weekends; travel within the area is up to 30–60 minutes.

Qualifications

• Must hold OD degree and be licensed to practice in NY.
• Ability to perform comprehensive eye examinations with accuracy.
• Strong patient communication and education on eye health and prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams for patients in nursing homes.
• Explain eye health concepts and prescription terminology to patients.
• Coordinate with technicians and manage paperwork (prefilled) with billing handled by us.

Job Description

Optometrist needed to commute 30mins-1hr to ONE out of the 3-4 nursing homes a day. Optometrist will need to perform excellent comprehensive eye exams. To ensure flawless accuracy in taking measurements and diagnosing ocular conditions. Explain eye health and prescription terminology to patients. Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits to patients. Techs will be available in certain locations. No EMR needed, just prefilled paperwork to be done. We handle the billing!
