Job summary

Eye to Eye Careers is seeking a part-time Optometrist to serve Saratoga NY by commuting to one of several nursing homes each day. Portable equipment is provided and techs may be available in some locations.

You will perform comprehensive eye exams, explain eye health and prescription terminology, and communicate product benefits to patients while we handle billing and travel is within your geographic area.

Qualifications

• Optometrist licensed and able to practice in NY state.
• Excellent patient communication and exam skills.
• Detail oriented with accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams at 1 of 3–4 nursing homes per day.
• Explain eye health and prescription terminology to patients.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and communicate features and benefits to patients.
• Coordinate with on-site techs; EMR not required, paperwork prefilled.
• We handle the billing and provide portable equipment.

Job Post:

Part-time, up to travel, Optometrist, needed for ONE location a day for 3-4 nursing homes in Saratoga NY. We provide the latest portable equipment with friendly patients. We're open to hearing bonuses and salary requests. Travel time will be up to 30mins-1hr within your geographical area.

Job Description:

Optometrist needed to commute 30mins-1hr to ONE out of the 3-4 nursing homes a day. Optometrist will need to perform excellent comprehensive eye exams. To ensure flawless accuracy in taking measurements and diagnosing ocular conditions. Explain eye health and prescription terminology to patients. Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits to patients. Techs will be available in certain locations. No EMR needed, just prefilled paperwork to be done. We handle the billing!
