General Function

The Managing Optometrist leads and manages the marketplace and organization by delivering the brand promise, ensuring excellent patient care, and achieving key performance metrics.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Develops a vision and strategic goals in partnership with regional and store managers.
2. Sets clear objectives, manages KPIs, and maintains high accountability.
3. Enhances LensCrafters' reputation within the community.
4. Acts as a stakeholder within the organization and local market.
5. Focuses on patient/customer service, exceeding expectations, and building lasting relationships.
6. Leads and manages the team to deliver exceptional patient service.
7. Addresses all visual lifestyle needs and provides comprehensive eye health summaries.
8. Ensures compliance with protocols and standards of care.
9. Maintains positive doctor-patient relationships and utilizes technology effectively.
10. Communicates effectively with staff to ensure seamless service.
11. Maintains office quality systems, licensure, and continuing education.
12. Provides training, feedback, and performance management to staff.
13. Fosters a positive corporate culture and leads store meetings.
14. Recruits and plans staffing needs proactively.
15. Ensures visual displays and office appearance meet company standards.
16. Maintains a safe working environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $144,817.83 - $196,880.06. Compensation includes potential bonuses, commissions, health benefits, retirement plans, paid time off, and employee discounts. Pay is influenced by location, experience, and qualifications.
