GENERAL FUNCTION

The Associate Optometrist leads by delivering high-quality eye care, collaborating with store management and team members, and promoting the brand. They ensure excellent patient care, meet performance KPIs, and serve as a brand ambassador driven by passion and high standards.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Ensure executional excellence and results in partnership with the Store Manager and team.
  2. Exceed results through KPI management and accountability.
  3. Promote the brand as a leading optical provider in the community.
  4. Collaborate with organizational leaders and local market stakeholders.
  5. Prioritize patient/customer needs and provide excellent service.
  6. Strive to exceed all KPIs and deliver unsurpassed patient service, including:
  • Address visual lifestyle needs
  • Recommend eyewear based on needs
  • Explain eye exams and listen to patients
  • Use tools and visual aids for patient understanding
  • Encourage annual eye exams and schedule follow-ups
  • Conduct services per protocols and standards
  • Ensure accurate diagnoses and appropriate recommendations.
  • Build positive doctor-patient relationships.
  • Leverage technology to enhance patient experience.
  • Maintain office systems and state licensure.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members.
  • Offer timely and constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive, motivating culture.
  • Empower staff decision-making near patients.
  • Lead through example and maintain a safe environment.
  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    • Doctor of Optometry degree
    • Commitment to quality patient care
    • Knowledge of current optometric theory and technology
    • Strong communication and listening skills

    • Organizational skills

    Pay Range: $59.20 - $80.74

    Compensation is influenced by location, experience, skills, and other factors. Benefits may include health care, retirement, paid time off, and discounts.
