Job summary

Japantown Optometry in San Jose, California, is seeking a compassionate and motivated full-time Optometrist to join its modern, centrally located practice. You will perform comprehensive eye examinations, recommend eyewear, and determine contact lens prescriptions, supported by a skilled team and advanced technology.

California-licensed optometrists with 1–3 years experience are encouraged to apply; LASIK co-management is a plus. A Japanese-speaking staff environment is noted in this role.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree and California licensure required.
• 1–3 years clinical practice; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to deliver patient-centered, individualized care.
• Experience with Optometric tech and practice management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe eyewear.
• Determine contact lens prescriptions and fit as needed.
• Support practice growth with exceptional patient care.
