Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Optometry experience.
• Active Michigan Optometrist license in good standing.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
• Comfortable screening a high volume of patients, including 100+ soldiers during an event.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Current professional credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Provide precise vision screenings and refraction exams for soldiers during scheduled events.
• Perform refraction exams using a Phoropter.
• Accurately complete provided forms for each prescription/script.
• Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the Compass Medical Provider team to ensure soldiers receive quality care.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and team-focused environment.
