Job summary

Compass Medical Provider, LLC is seeking experienced Optometrists to join our team, supporting the Michigan Army National Guard with vision screenings and refraction exams during drill weekends. You will contribute to soldier readiness while collaborating with a dedicated Medical team.

We seek detail-oriented professionals with at least 1 year of optometry experience and an active Michigan license. Travel to events is required, with competitive compensation and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Optometry experience.
• Active Michigan Optometrist license in good standing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
• Comfortable screening a high volume of patients (100+ soldiers).
• Teamwork and collaboration with the Compass Medical Provider team.

Responsibilities

• Provide precise vision screenings and refraction exams for soldiers during events.
• Perform refraction exams using a Phoropter.
• Accurately complete provided forms for each prescription/script.
• Work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the Compass Medical Provider team to ensure soldiers receive quality care.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and team-focused environment.

Vision screenings are typically conducted during drill weekends, as needed, providing an excellent opportunity to earn additional income on weekends while serving those who serve our country.

Key Responsibilities
