Matrix Providers is hiring an Optometrist to join our team serving military service members and their families in Columbus, GA. The position is full-time with an 8:00am-4:00pm schedule, Monday through Friday, and compensation on an hourly basis ($94.00–$99.00).

Requirements include Doctor of Optometry (O.D.), an active license, and Basic Life Support certification. Core duties cover exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and clinical management of eye and systemic conditions, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from an ACOTE-accredited optometry school and approved by the Air Force Surgeon General.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as an optometrist.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).

Responsabilités

• Examine, diagnose, treat or prescribe courses of treatment for diseases, injuries, or disorders of the visual system and related structures.
• Promote prevention and wellness, vision conservation, education and training activities, vision screenings, and healthy eye behaviors.
• Provide full spectrum of clinical services for complex optometric conditions and assist in training ophthalmic staff.
