Job summary

Petaluma Health Center in Petaluma, CA, is recruiting an Optometrist to join our progressive, interdisciplinary team. You’ll practice in a team-based environment that is integrated with primary care, with vision services at our primary care clinic and a standalone eye clinic, both equipped with Topcon OCTs and Humphrey Visual Fields.

The Optometrist will provide full-scope routine and medical eye care to a diverse patient population, maintaining high standards of care and effective patient

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited North American program is required.
• California license with TPA and Glaucoma certification required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken) preferred.
• EPIC and electronic health records experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Examines, diagnoses, treats and manages eye disorders and injuries.
• Prescribes medications, eyeglasses and contact lenses as appropriate.
• Maintains high quality eye care across all ages.
• Delivers treatment plans with informed consent discussions.
