The role emphasizes comprehensive optometry, collaboration with staff, and a commitment to quality patient outcomes. Licensure in the practicing state and an OD degree are required, with local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree from an accredited institution is required.
• License in good standing to practice Optometry in the practicing state is required.
• National Provider Identification (NPI) is required.
• TPA License is required.
• Prior clinical optometry experience in a retail, educational, or medical office setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ vision and health care needs; document findings in patient records.
• Consult with patients regarding current status and future requirements of their vision care.
• Work with the office team to provide compassionate, personalized patient care, ensuring a high-quality experience.
