General Function

A Pearle Vision Licensed Operator (Franchisee) seeks an Optometrist to deliver high-quality optometric care and professional services at their location. The terms of employment, practice model, pay, benefits, and hours are negotiated directly with the Licensed Operator.

Our franchise owners are independent business operators affiliated with Luxottica Retail North America, which also owns LensCrafters, Sears Optical, Target Optical, and Sunglass Hut. Since 1981, Pearle Vision has been a leading franchise in North America, with over 600 locations.

This role does not involve franchise ownership; it is a position to work as an employed or independent optometrist at an existing Pearle Vision location.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality optometric care and services.
2. Establish positive relationships with patients.
3. Conduct services following clinical protocols and standards of care.
4. Ensure accurate diagnoses and appropriate recommendations.
5. Deliver exceptional patient service, enhancing the Pearle Vision experience.
6. Collaborate with store teams and leadership to foster a safe and motivating work environment.
7. Maintain office quality systems.
8. Promote Pearle Vision as a leading optical provider in the community.

Basic Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited optometry school.
2. Licensed to practice in the state of practice.
3. DPA and TPA certified.
4. Knowledge of current optometric technology and practices.
