Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school or college of optometry.

Role Overview

As an Optometrist at Henry Ford Health, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional primary eye care services to our patients. You will collaborate closely with the Manager, General Manager, and Optometrist in Charge to ensure seamless patient care and achieve office productivity goals. Your work will also involve coordination with the Department of Ophthalmology to provide integrated eye care solutions, supporting professional staffing, office coverage, and ancillary staff training across all locations.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of a program from an accredited school or college of optometry.
• Previous direct patient care experience in comprehensive primary care optometry.
• Licensed as an Optometrist in the State of Michigan.
• Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agent (T.P.A.) and Diagnostic Pharmaceutical Agent (D.P.A.) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in community-based healthcare settings.
• Familiarity with integrated eye care models.
