Job summary

Ascent Eye Care in Salida, Colorado is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye examinations, assess visual health, and provide patient-centered care. You will diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribe eyewear, and maintain detailed patient records while collaborating with a supportive team.

Patients come from across south-central Colorado, with a schedule of 3–4 days per week and opportunities for growth toward partnership in the practice.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice optometry in the state of Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and assess visual acuity, refraction, eye alignment, and overall eye health.
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses and diagnose/manage ocular conditions.
• Co-manage pre- and post-operative patients when applicable and maintain complete patient records.
