Eyes in Austin, TX seeks a part-time optometrist to join an ophthalmology practice, with an opportunity for full-time growth. The role includes refractions, annual exams, and soft contact lens fittings. RGP/scleral lens experience is preferred to support complex cornea cases.

Retinoscopy and pediatric patient care are expected, with Spanish proficiency preferred. Central location near live music, sports, outdoor activities, and fine dining.

Qualifications

• Experience with refractions and annual eye exams.
• Experience fitting soft contact lenses; RGP/scleral lens experience preferred.
• Comfort with retinoscopy and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide refractive support for post-operative cataract and LASIK cases.
• Conduct extensive diagnostic testing and manage medically interesting cases.
