Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) accredited by the Council of Optometric Education.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain current, unrestricted Idaho OD license.
• A minimum of 2 years in practice is required.
• Background checks including NPDB and criminal history are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains current and active license to practice Optometry in the State of Idaho.
• Provides full scope medical eye care and optical program services.
• Consults with other medical staff for integrated care.
• Develops policies and procedures as assigned.
• Attends medical staff meetings and other meetings as assigned.
• Performs regular quality control activities and QI audits with the QI Manager.
