General Function

The Associate Optometrist leads in delivering the brand promise and organizational results through collaboration and teamwork. Ensures high-quality optometric care, performs clinical protocols, and promotes growth through strong partnerships with the MOD, SMM, and team. Acts as a brand ambassador, driven by passion and high standards to exceed expectations.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Ensure executional excellence and achieve results in partnership with the MOD and store team.
  2. Exceed results through KPI management and accountability.
  3. Promote the brand as the leading optical provider in the community.
  4. Collaborate effectively with all organizational leaders and local market partners.
  5. Prioritize patient/customer needs and deliver excellent service.
  6. Strive to exceed all KPIs.
  7. Provide unsurpassed patient service by addressing visual lifestyle needs, making eyewear recommendations, explaining eye exams, and using visual aids to ensure understanding.
  8. Ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations for all patients.
  9. Build positive doctor-patient relationships.
  10. Leverage technology to enhance patient experiences.
  11. Maintain office systems and ensure licensure and continuing education requirements are met.
  12. Train and guide team members using company programs.
  13. Provide timely, motivating, and constructive feedback to staff.
  14. Foster a positive, motivated culture aligned with corporate values.
  15. Encourage decision-making at the closest level to the patient.
  16. Enhance partnerships through leadership and involvement.
  17. Ensure the office appearance is professional and welcoming.
  18. Maintain a safe working environment.
  19. Lead by example.
Basic Qualifications
  1. Doctor of Optometry degree.
  2. Commitment to quality patient care.
  3. Knowledge of current optometric theories and technologies.
  4. Strong communication and listening skills.
  5. Problem-solving abilities.
  6. Organizational skills.
