Job summary

Key City Vision Center in Dubuque, IA seeks an experienced optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care to an established patient base. You will perform eye exams, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribe glasses, and conduct contact lens fittings, while collaborating with a skilled support team.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program.
• Current Iowa optometry license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Good standing with licensing bodies; ability to provide comprehensive eye exams.
• Strong communication and patient-centered care approach.
• Ability to collaborate with optical and support staff; coverage of credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions.
• Provide spectacle prescriptions and vision recommendations.
• Perform contact lens examinations, fittings, and follow-up care.
• Educate patients about eye health and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and use diagnostic technology.
