L2R Consulting in South Tampa, FL is seeking a patient-focused Optometrist to join our established, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, communicates well, and thrives in a fast-paced medical setting.

Responsibilities include comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and managing ocular disease, contact lens fittings, co-managing cataract, refractive, glaucoma, and cornea cases with our surgical team, and maintaining EMR documentation while collaborating

Qualifications

• OD degree required
• Active Florida license or ability to obtain
• Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in medical optometry preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams for new and established patients
• Diagnose and manage ocular disease
• Provide contact lens fittings and follow-up care
• Co-manage cataract, refractive, glaucoma, and cornea patients with our surgical team
• Educate patients on treatment plans and vision care
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists, technicians, and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow
