MRG Exams is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to perform disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA benefits process. The role involves comprehensive eye exams, reviewing records via a secure portal, and documenting findings for VA determinations.

This is a non-treating, non-determination position focused solely on assessments. The role supports a structured schedule, in-person location in Springfield, VA, and a caseload of 4-6 Veterans per day, with all necessary tools provided.

Qualifications

• Active Optometry license required.
• Proficiency with Visual Field Testing (VFT) recommended.
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.

Join MRG Exams to conduct comprehensive eye exams for U.S. Veterans. This is a rewarding non-treating, non-determination role focused solely on assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Perform thorough eye exams, including Visual Field Testing (VFT).
• Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.
• Note: This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication. Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider.
