Dr. Fitzgerald and Associates, a thriving Cedar Rapids practice, is seeking a passionate optometrist to join its team as early as July. This full-time or part-time role provides flexible scheduling with shared evening and Saturday shifts. A strong interest in neuro-optometry or sports vision is a significant advantage. What You'll Do

As the newest Optometrist at Dr. Fitzgerald and Associates, you’ll deliver full-scope eye care to patients of all ages, including comprehensive exams and managing ocular diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. You’ll utilize advanced technology such as Optomap, OCT, Retinal camera, Humphreys VF, Topography, RightEye, Cognivue, HRV, and other sports vision technologies to provide accurate diagnoses and personalized care. The role includes providing corrective lenses, patient education, and documenting visits in EHR. The schedule offers flexibility with shared evening and Saturday shifts in a collaborative environment.
