General Function

The Managing Optometrist leads and manages the store operations, ensuring delivery of the brand promise through excellent patient/customer experience and achieving organizational KPIs. Ensures high-quality optometric care for all patients.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Develops a compelling vision and strategic goals in collaboration with regional and store management, ensuring successful execution.
2. Sets clear objectives, communicates expectations, and demonstrates accountability through KPI management.
3. Establishes LensCrafters as the leading optical provider in the community.
4. Acts as a stakeholder within the organization and local market.
5. Focuses on delivering excellent patient/customer service and exceeding KPI expectations.
6. Leads and manages the team to provide exceptional patient service.
7. Addresses all visual lifestyle needs of patients/customers.
8. Builds long-term relationships with patients, becoming their primary eye care provider.
9. Ensures effective communication and leverages technology to enhance patient experience.
10. Maintains office quality standards and state licensure requirements.
11. Provides training and feedback to team members, fostering a positive culture aligned with company values.
12. Recruits, interviews, and develops high-caliber talent, planning for succession.
13. Forecasts staffing needs and manages scheduling accordingly.
14. Adheres to company policies, maintains inventory, and ensures a safe working environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $144,817.83 - $196,880.06

Compensation includes base salary, potential bonuses, commissions, and a comprehensive benefits package including health care, retirement plans, paid time off, and employee discounts.
