Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and analyze results.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses and medications.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care after eye surgery.
• Counsel patients on eyecare and treatment options.
• Educate patients about contact lens care and lens choices.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure accurate lens fitting and repairs.
