AEG Vision in Vancouver, WA is seeking a full-time Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose vision problems, and prescribe eyewear and medications. You will build lasting patient relationships through education and proactive eyecare guidance, coordinating with staff to ensure outstanding service.

This on-site role offers a competitive base pay of $130,000–$150,000 yearly, a robust benefits package including 401(k) with Match, Vision Service Plan, HSA/FSA, PTO and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsabilités

• Conduct eye exams and vision tests; analyze results.
• Diagnose vision problems and ocular diseases; prescribe eyewear, contacts, and medications.
• Promote eye health and educate patients on lenses, coatings and designs.
• Establish long-term patient relationships and educate patients on eyecare.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care related to eye procedures.
• Refer patients to other healthcare providers as needed.
• Communicate effectively with opticians and sales staff.
• Support practice growth by counseling patients and building loyalty.
• Perform patient interviews to assess health and ocular history.
• Offer treatments such as vision therapy or low-vision rehabilitation (brand specific).
• Ensure on-site patient care supports full scope of licensure.
