Job summary

American Eyecare, a group of four private practices across Southeast Iowa, seeks a compassionate optometrist to join our Burlington clinics and nearby Mt. Pleasant, Keokuk and Fort Madison locations.

We offer a full-time, four-day workweek with no nights or weekends, a salary range of $120,000 to $175,000 plus a $10,000 sign-on/relocation bonus, and benefits including vision and dental insurance, paid vacation, malpractice coverage, CE reimbursement, and future ownership opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye and vision exams.
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma and dry eye.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and fit specialty contacts.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Counsel and educate patients on maintaining lifelong eye health.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical best practices.
