Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye and vision care, including routine eye examinations, diagnosing and treating vision problems and eye diseases, and prescribing corrective lenses. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for promoting eye health.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and detect eye diseases or abnormalities.

– Diagnose and treat eye conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and glaucoma.

– Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids based on patient needs.

– Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.

– Educate patients on proper eye care techniques and the importance of regular eye exams.

– Stay up-to-date with advancements in optometry and integrate new technologies into patient care.

– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.

– Maintain accurate patient records, including diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress notes.

– Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, standards, and policies.

– Participate in community outreach programs to promote eye health awareness.

Qualifications:

– Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school.

– Valid state optometry license.

– Strong diagnostic skills with attention to detail.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
