We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision examinations, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, and the management of patient care including pediatrics. This role requires a strong commitment to patient satisfaction and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Duties

• Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose ocular conditions. Both pediatric and adults.
• Provide appropriate treatment plans and prescribe corrective lenses as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on eye health, preventative care, and proper use of eyewear.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in optometry practices and technologies.
• Manage pediatric patients with a focus on their unique needs in vision care.
• Utilize medical coding for billing purposes accurately.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice optometry.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the visual system.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care.
• Familiarity with medical records management systems and coding practices.
• Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
