Prospect Health is seeking a qualified Optometrist for a part-time role in the Chester area. The position offers 24 hours per week with flexible rota and strong opportunities for professional development and benefits.

You will deliver high-quality eye examinations, support the wider optical team, and contribute to new patient services while maintaining clinical and operational standards. Comprehensive CPD is funded and supported.

Competenze

Optometrist - Part Time - 24 Hours per Week

£49,400 - £62,900 Full-Time Equivalent, depending on experience

We're currently recruiting for a qualified Optometrist to join a well-established and forward-thinking optical team in the Chester area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist looking for part-time hours without compromising on professional development, career opportunities or benefits. You'll be joining a supportive environment where high-quality patient care is at the heart of everything they do.

The Role

As an Optometrist, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality patient care while supporting the wider optical team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive eye examinations and excellent patient care
• Screening and monitoring patients
• Supporting the delivery of extended eye care services
• Maintaining high clinical and operational standards
• Coaching and supporting the wider optical team
• Contributing to the development of new and enhanced patient services
• Working closely with the Optical Manager and wider department team

You’ll receive comprehensive professional development and training, including a strong CPD programme and protected time to complete additional accreditations, where required. Relevant training and accreditation are fully funded and supported.

You'll also have access to in-store, regional and central support teams, ensuring expert guidance is available for both clinical and service-related queries.

Hours & Rota

24 hours per week - Part Time

The role offers a flexible working pattern across the store's seven-day opening, with specific rota details available upon application.

You'll have:

• Full GOC registration
