Note: This position is 1-2 days per week in Pasadena, CA.

We are the Vision Adjustment Center and are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team to provide Light Adjustable Lens patients with our new Light Delivery Device post-cataract treatments (no experience necessary - we will train you). This allows the Optometrist to make adjustments to the post-cataract patient's vision by delivering UV light treatments to improve vision. The Optometrist will work closely with patients to ensure their most accurate refraction, test the patient for possible monovision, and perform these Light Delivery Device treatments to achieve the best possible vision post Light Adjustable Lens surgery. You will be provided extensive training on this exciting new technology for cataract patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate treatment plans for patients and perform Light Delivery Device treatments.
• Collaborate with cataract surgeons to understand the patient's best possible outcome with these light adjustment treatments

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice optometry.
• Experience with post-cataract patients.
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
