Job summary

This weekend-focused role requires availability for weekends and occasional weekdays, with equipment provided by DOCS Health. You will work with a nationwide care team to support US military readiness, including Army Reserve, ARNG, USNR, and more. Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Optometry license in the state of Iowa.
• Weekend availability for Saturday/Sunday shifts.
• Experience with military or military-related healthcare preferred.

Attention all Optometrists we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members.
We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Iowa on an \"as needed basis\".
We provide health readiness services to meet the medical requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing refractions and eyeglass fittings with equipment provided by DOCS Health.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted license/certification in the state
• Available for weekends and occasional weekdays
• Passionate, friendly, and caring
• Must have weekend availability
• Experience working with military - preferred
