DOCS Health in Iowa is seeking Optometrists to provide refractions and eyeglass fittings for military service members, primarily on weekends with occasional weekdays as needed.

You will work with supplied equipment, participate in health readiness services, and join a dedicated team focused on compassionate, patient-centered eye care for USAR, ARNG, USNR, MARFORRES, USCGR, ANG and USAFR.

Formación

• Active and unrestricted optometrist license in the state.
• Available for weekends and occasional weekdays.
• Friendly, compassionate and patient-focused.
• Military experience preferred.

Attention all Optometrists we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members.
We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Iowa on an \"as needed basis\".
We provide health readiness services to meet the medical requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing refractions and eyeglass fittings with equipment provided by DOCS Health.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted license/certification in the state
• Available for weekends and occasional weekdays
• Passionate, friendly, and caring
• Must have weekend availability
• Experience working with military - preferred
