Boston Vision is seeking an experienced Optometrist to provide high-quality eye care. You will perform routine eye exams, evaluate Lasik and cataract candidates, and fit both soft and specialty contact lenses.

You will document diagnoses and treatment plans, and provide postoperative care as needed in a professional medical office. The position is split between Lawrence and Burlington with flexibility for location and schedule.

Formación

• Must hold a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.
• Massachusetts state Optometry license required.

Job Description

Boston Vision is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our growing team. As an Optometrist, you will use your knowledge and established skill set to provide excellent eye care to each patient. Ideal candidates would enjoy working in a multi-faceted capacity from performing routine eye exams, to evaluating potential Lasik and Cataract candidates, and skillfully fitting both soft and specialty contact lenses. Additionally responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, documenting all diagnosis and/or treatment plans, performing minor surgical procedures as needed, and providing postoperative care to patients who have had eye surgery. This position would be split between the Lawrence and Burlington. Flexibility for location/schedule preferences is available.

Required Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree.
• Must hold a valid, Massachusetts state issued license of Optometry.

Preferred Qualification

Bi-lingual Spanish speaking skills preferred, but not required

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work vary according to the business demands.

This position may be asked to practice at several Boston Vision locations.

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional medical office environment routinely using standard office and clinical equipment such as computers, telephones and testing equipment.
