Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Optometrists to perform refractions and eyeglass fittings for military service members in Hawaii. Most work will occur on weekends with occasional weekday shifts, in a fixed-clinic, mobile deployment setting.

Required is an active Hawaii optometrist license, weekend availability, and a friendly, caring demeanor. Experience with military populations is preferred, and background checks plus E-Verify are part of the process.

Attention all Optometrists we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Hawaii on an "as needed basis".

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing refractions and eyeglass fittings with equipment provided by DOCS Health.

• Active and unrestricted license/certification in the state
• Available for weekends and occasional weekdays
