Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range : $120000 $145000 depending on experience
• Schedule : 3240 hours per week
• Vacation : 120 hours per year
• Personal Time : 40 hours per year
• CME : 40 hours per year and $2500 allowance
• Holidays : 10 paid holidays annually

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams and visual acuity testing
• Diagnose and manage vision problems and eye disease
• Prescribe corrective lenses and therapeutic procedures
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare providers
• Participate in quality improvement meetings and chart audits
• Help develop departmental protocols and compliance processes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow scope-of-practice standards
• Reports to : Director of Optometry

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Optometry program
• Licensed Optometrist in the State of Massachusetts
• Valid CPR Certification
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Must hold or obtain Optometric Legend Drug Certificate
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
